Maddy Ryan got wins in both games of Thursday night's doubleheader as Linn-Mar swept visiting Waterloo East, 13-1 and 11-3.

In the opener, Ryan also went 2-for-3 at the plate with a triple. Elison Ollinger was 3-for-4 with a triple and senior Madison Rentschler also tripled for the Lions.

The sweep moves Linn-Mar to 6-1 overall, 4-1 in the MVC. Waterloo East falls to 2-5, 2-4.
