IOWA CITY - Maddy Ryan went 4-for-4 with three doubles Thursday night as the Linn-Mar Lions belted Iowa City High, 14-3, in the second game of a Mississippi Valley Conference doubleheader in Iowa City.

The Little Hawks captured the first game, 8-0.

Linn-Mar collected 16 hits in the nightcap. Ryan was the winning pitcher, in addition to her impressive display with her bat. Cheyenne Hansen and Alexis Kelsey both had two doubles for the Lions (7-9, 5-7).

Linn-Mar collected only five hits against City High ace Erin Weno in the opener. Hannah Yearling had three of those hits.
