WHITE BEAR LAKE, Minn. - Marion High School graduate Zach Nielsen will play in the NJCAA Division III national baseball tournament later this week with the Century College Wood Ducks from White Bear Lake, Minn.

Nielsen graduated from Marion in 2011 and helped the Indians make the Class 3A state tournament that year.

Nielsen is the starting shortstop for Century College. He is hitting .364 with one homer and 31 RBIs this season. He has scored 43 runs and stolen 21 bases.

Century College (38-11) will face Gloucester County of New Jersey (45-3) in the opening round of the eight-team national tournament this Saturday in Tyler, Texas.
