SOLON - Nick Day slugged two home runs and drove in six runs Wednesday as Solon drubbed Marion, 15-3, in five innings in the first game of a Wamac Confererence doubleheader at Solon.
Solon was leading the second game, 2-1, in the bottom of the fourth inning when the game was suspended due to weather.
Solon is 11-0 overall and 7-0 in the Wamac. Marion is 4-7 overall and 3-6 in the league.
