Marion High School tailback Colton Mowry did not play against Decorah Friday night due to a sprained MCL, according to Coach Tony Perkins.

Mowry carried the ball 18 times for 162 yards and two touchdowns in a 40-0 victory over Mount Pleasant in the first game of the season, but suffered the injury during that contest. He will be sidelined for an indefinite period of time.

Mowry is a 5-foot-9, 185-pound senior.

The Indians lost to Decorah, 34-7.
