Three Marion football players have committed to play for Iowa Conference schools.

Running back Colton Storla and linebacker Jake McDonald will play for Coe.

Defensive back Hunter Banes will play for Simpson.

McDonald was a Class 3A first team all-state linebacker by the Iowa Newspaper Association. He had 135 tackles, including 21 for loss, last season and finished with 325 career tackles.

Storla was a third team INA all-state selection and led the Metro in rushing with 1,222 yards and 17 touchdowns.

Banes had seven interceptions last season, ranking him tied for second in Class 3A.
