WATERLOO -- The Marion boys soccer team will not go unbeaten this season. Waterloo Columbus saw to that Thursday afternoon.

The teams were tied after regulation and two overtimes. Columbus won in a shootout.

Marion, ranked ninth in Class 2A, fell to 8-1 overall and into a first-place tie with Waterloo Columbus in the Wamac West at 6-1. Columbus, ranked third in Class 1A, is 8-2-4 overall.
