WILLIAMSBURG -- Marion put 22 shots on goal to Williamsburg's five Tuesday in boys soccer.
But Williamsburg made two of its shots count and beat the Indians, 2-0.
The score was tied 0-0 at halftime. Marion (1-5, 1-4 Wamac) had a chance to score on a penalty kick, but missed wide.
Williamsburg broke through with a goal at about the 50-minute mark and then was content to sit back on defense. The Raiders added a goal in the 70th minute on a counterattack that took Marion out of the game.
Enoch Duval, Noah Smith and Dalton Ott led Marion in shots on goal.
Marion was missing sophomore starting sweeper Matthew Minks, who sat out the fame because of injury.
