The Marion Indians did not get any hits Wednesday night, but they battled West Delaware for 11 innings before losing a Wamac Conference softball game at Marion, 3-2.
Hannah Cole pitched the entire game for West Delaware and tossed the marathon no-hitter. Lauren Rausch and Beth Knapp collected RBIs for Marion in the third inning when the Indians took a 2-1 lead without the benefit of a base hit.
West Delaware tied the game, 2-2, in the top of the fifth. It stayed that way until the visitors scored in the top of the 11th and held on for the victory.
West Delaware had 10 hits in the game, including a home run by Ashley Heims. Bre Smith and Ashley Lappe shared the pitching for Marion.
Marion fell to 9-16 overall and 5-10 in Wamac games.
