INDEPENDENCE - Hannah Miller collected nine kills Tuesday night as Marion swept a Wamac Conference volleyball match from Independence, 25-17, 25-11, 25-12.

The Indians were 69 of 74 on serves with Heather McGuire 13 for 13, Amanda Sahm 12 for 12, Sarah Ernst 9 for 9, Micaela Combs 9 for 9 and Abby Phillips 8 for 8.

Sarah Ernst led Marion with 32 assists. Jessica Thomas had eight kills and Morgan Kolarik had seven kills.

Sahm made eight digs and Phillips had seven. McGuire served four aces and Miller had three. Kolarik came up with five blocks.
