Marion clinched a share of the Wamac Conference West Division volleyball championship Tuesday night with a 3-0 sweep of Center Point-Urbana.
Marion won 25-21, 25-19, 25-15.
Hannah Miller's 21 kills and five blocks led the Indians. Sarah Ernst had 40 of Marion's 43 assists. Allison Scott was 24-for-24 serving and the Indians were 67-for-72. Amanda Sahm had three aces and Micaela Combs 13 digs.
"This was a good win for us tonight, we will have a share in the conference title with this win," Marion Coach Roxanne Paulsen said. "We had to play without our libero so it was good to see others step up and do some good things.
"Senior night is always an emotional night and can sometimes be difficult to settle in, (and) tonight was a little of the same. Center Point had us backed into a corner in game 2
but we managed to get a run late in the game. Alli Scott did a great job serving throughout the match and gave us some key serving runs."
