DUBUQUE -- The Cedar Rapids Prairie girls basketball team ran into a scoring drought Friday night against Dubuque Hempstead.
The 10th-ranked Hawks were dumped by Hempstead, 46-23, in a Mississippi Valley Conference game.
Madison Dellamuth, Prairie's starting point guard, did not play in the contest due to a sore knee.
Courtney McCrary led the Hawks with eight points.
