IOWA CITY - Haley Lorenzen scored 17 points and Mickey Hansche added 16 to lead No. 9 Iowa City High past No. 12 Prairie, 68-37, Friday night in a Mississippi Valley Conference girls basketball game at City High.

Prairie (11-7, 8-7) lost its fourth straight game and was beaten by 30 or more points for the second straight night. The Hawks were beaten by No. 2 Iowa City West, 75-45, Thursday night.

Madison Dellamuth led Prairie with 14 points. Courteney McCrary was held to one point before fouling out in the fourth quarter.

Iowa City High is 14-5 overall, 9-5 in the MVC.
