Trey Beckman hit a home run and double, and drove in three runs to help Prairie to a 4-3 win over Clinton in a prep baseball game Wednesday night at Prairie.
Beckman homered leading off the third inning. His groundout in the fourth plated another run and double in the sixth drove home what proved to be the winning run.
Brennan Hammer had two hits and Blake Stallman scored two runs for Prairie.
Mitch Adams gave up five hits over 5.2 innings and struck out six for the Hawks. Ben Milks worked the final 1.1 innings and gave up two runs, but collected a save.
