Rachel Carney's header off an assist from Hannah Kousheh produced the only goal of the game and lifted Class 2A No. 12 Prairie past Jefferson, 1-0, Saturday in girls soccer at Prairie.

The Hawks were blanked by Washington in their second game, 4-0.

Prairie is 6-4 overall and 3-3 in the MVC.
