DAVENPORT — Josh Oglesby’s 30 points weren’t enough to overcome Davenport West and the No. 4 Warriors were upset, 58-55, Tuesday night (Dec. 7) in a non-conference game.
Washington (1-1) held a 46-43 lead heading into the fourth quarter, but was outscored 15-9 in the final period and lost.
Joe Scott scored 27 points to lead unranked West (3-0). He made 5-of-8 3-pointers and 4-of-6 free throws. West shot 11 for 15 from the free-throw line. Washington was 6 of 12.
Wes Washpun added 12 points and seven rebounds for the Warriors.
Washington won the sophomore game, 67-36.
