Cedar Rapids Washington will play Davenport Assumption in the opening round of the Class 4A football playoffs Wednesday night at Brady Street Stadium in Davenport.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Washington (6-3) finished its season Thursday night with a 49-7 victory over Waterloo West at Kingston Stadium. Davenport Assumption finished its season Friday night with a 41-7 conquest of Davenport North.

Assumption plays in the Mississippi Athletic Conference and lost its only games this year to Pleasant Valley (41-27) and No. 8 North Scott (26-3). Its victories were against Clinton (47-7), Burlington (42-7), No. 5 Bettendorf (14-5), Davenport Central (25-14), Davenport West (55-0), Muscatine (35-16) and Davenport North (41-7).
