MUSCATINE - Fifth-ranked Washington had a rough opening Saturday at the Muscatine Invitational boys soccer tournament.

The Warriors lost to No. 2 West Des Moines Valley, 4-2, then tumbled to No. 1 West Des Moines Dowling, 2-0.

Washington finished the day with a 3-0 loss to unranked Muscatine.
