Warriors 5th at Wittmer Invitational

AMES — Washington failed to crown a champion and finished fifth in a powerful field Saturday (Dec. 4) at the Mike Wittmer Invitational.

Cedar Falls swimmers won eight of the 11 events and the No. 1 ranked Tigers rolled up 302 points to win the meet.  Iowa City High (247) was second. Ames (187), Johnston (169) and Washington (162) rounded out the top five in the eight-team meet.

Washington’s next meet is Tuesday at home against Jefferson.
