IOWA CITY - The Cedar Rapids Washington girls tennis team was clipped by Iowa City West, 6-3, in a battle of state powers Saturday in Iowa City.
The Warriors (10-1, 8-1) suffered their first loss of the season while Iowa City West stayed undefeated.
Washington blanked Iowa City High, 9-0, in its other match Saturday.
