Washington girls run tennis record to 3-0

Katie Hammond whipped Kathleen Hutchinson in No. 1 singles and led Washington to its third straight girls tennis victory Tuesday at Washington.

The Warriors shutout Dubuque Wahlert, 9-0, to improve to 3-0 overall and 1-0 in the Mississippi Valley Conference.

Kristin King also shutout Courtney Schneider, 10-0, at No. 2 singles for the Warriors.
