Washington girls roll over Hempstead

DUBUQUE -- Washington lost only four points in singles and the Warriors rolled past Dubuque Hempstead, 9-0, Saturday in girls tennis.

Washington's Katie Hammond beat Hempstead's Katie Meyer, 10-1, at No. 1 singles.

The Warriors are 6-0 overall, 4-0 in the MVC.

Washington's match against Dubuque Senior was postponed by wet grounds.
