The Cedar Rapids Washington girls tennis team raised its record to 9-0 this season with Mississippi Valley Conference victories over Iowa City West and Iowa City High Saturday at the Washington courts.

The Warriors topped Iowa City West, 7-2, in the morning and blitzed Iowa City High, 9-0, in the afternoon.

Katie Hammond, Kristin King, Lilly Hartman and Rina Moore swept their singles matches for Washington.
