The Xavier Saints collected only four hits Tuesday night and lost to Benton Community, 4-1, in a prep baseball game at Ken Charipar Field.
Jacob Germann pitched a strong game for the Bobcats. He allowed three hits in six innings with six strikeouts, three walks and three hit batters.
Cody Schnoebelen went 3-for-3 for Benton Community with a double. Jake Stenberg drove in two runs with sacrifice flies.
Corbin Woods had two hits for the Saints, including an RBI double in the seventh when Xavier (6-5) scored its only run.
