Adam Pick slugged two home runs and drove in six runs as the Xavier Saints belted Waterloo East, 14-3, in five innings in the first game of a Mississippi Valley Conference doubleheader at Ken Charipar Field Monday night.

The Saints battered the Trojans again in the nightcap, 12-4.

Pick hit a two-run homer in the first inning of the opener and belted a grand slam in the third inning as the Saints cruised behind a 15-hit attack. Corbin Woods went 3-for-3. Zack Brown and Jordan Ratz had two hits and three RBIs.

Ryan Meaney and Mack Mattke collected three hits in the nightcap. Woods and Jake Harriott had two hits. Woods, Mattke and Eric Schemmel had two RBIs for Xavier (10-5, 7-3).
