Former Xavier High School pitcher Jon Keller has transferred from the University of Nebraska to the University of Tampa.

Keller, a 6-foot-5 righthander, compiled a 3-6 record and 3.62 ERA at Nebraska as a freshman in 2011 and was 4-1 with a 5.57 ERA this past season.

He will have two years of eligibility with the Spartans.

The University of Tampa is an NCAA Division II school that competes in the Sunshine State Conference.
