WATERLOO -- Kayla Armstrong scored three goals and Annie Dale added two to lead top-ranked Xavier past Waterloo East, 10-0, Tuesday in MVC girls soccer.

Sammi Shepard, Holly Hazelton, Sarah Dickes, Katie Morrissey and Mary Levett scored a goal apiece fo the Saints, who ae ranked No. 1 in Class 2A.

Amstrong and Shepad had two assists apiece and Levett on for Xavier. Monica Busse, Lizzy McWhinney and Lexi Erger also had assists.

Xavier keeper Sara Chicchelly had one save.

Xavier put 16 shots on goal.

The Saints ae 9-2 overall, 8-2 in the MVC.
