IOWA CITY - Courtney Colston and Jenna Schulte hit home runs Tuesday night as Xavier defeated Iowa City High, 10-3, in the second game of a Mississippi Valley Conference doubleheader in Iowa City.

The Little Hawks won the first game, 6-4.

Sydney Galligan was 3-for-5 with three runs and two RBIs for the Saints (7-7, 7-7) in the nightcap. Schulte went 2-for-4 with a homer and three RBIs. Colston was 2-for-5 with a home and three runs scored. Allison Schwach went 2-for-3.

Erin Drahozal got the victory for Xavier with three strikeouts.

Jacey Wiebold had six strikeouts for Xavier in the first game but took the loss on the mound. Galligan was 3-for-4 with two runs scored and two stolen bases. Jenna Schulte was 2-for-3.
