URBANDALE -- Xavier split a pair of games at the Urbandale Elite Eight softball tournament Saturday.

The Saints were beaten by host Urbandale, 6-2, but bounced back to beat Des Moines Lincoln, 14-6.

Sydney Galligan had five hits and scored three runs to lead the Saints (8-10).

Galligan was 2-for-4 with a run scored against Ubandale. Jacey Wiebold took the loss for the Saints.

Galligan was 3-for-5 with a double, triple and two runs scored against Lincoln. Emily Walton and Courtney Colston each had two hits and three RBIs. Erin Drahozal was the winning pitcher.
