Jenna Schulte hit a three-run homer Wednesday night as the Xavier Saints clipped Burlington, 5-4, in the first game of a doubleheader at Xavier.

Burlington won the nightcap, 5-3.

Jamie Feltes went 3-for-3 for the Saints (11-11) in the first game. Jacey Wiebold was the winning pitcher.

Schulte went 2-for-4 with a double and RBI for Xavier in the second game. Erin Drahozal was the losing pitcher.

Burlington (19-8) is ranked No. 10 in Class 5A.
