VAN HORNE - Jordin Eicher and Tyler Burell post second-place finishes for the Cedar Rapids Washington wrestling team Saturday at the Jerry Eckenrod Invitational hosted by Benton Community High School.

Washington finished 10th in the 17-team tournament with 78 points. Davenport Assumption won with 261 points. West Delaware was second with 241 and Don Bosco third with 171.

Assumption had five champs, West Delaware four.

Eicher was beaten by technical fall by Assumption's Kyle Springer in the 126-pound final.

Burrell was pinned by West Delaware's Dean Broghammer in the 285-pound championship.
