WATERLOO —  The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders lost a marathon shootout to the Waterloo Blackhawks in a USHL game in Waterloo on Saturday night, 3-2.

Poturalski gave the RoughRiders a 1-0 lead in the second period, but Waterloo tied the game on a goal by Drew Melanson.
