There was a lot of talent on high school football teams in the Metro area this past season. Now many of those players have decided where to continue their football careers in college.

Connor Vincent, a star linebacker at Washington, has committed to Northwest Missouri State. Royal Silver, an outstanding lineman for the Warriors, will sign with Iowa Western Community College.

Keagan Pinter, who rushed for 1,103 yards and scored 11 touchdowns for Prairie, is headed to Upper Iowa. Sam Drysdale, a premier place-kicker for the Prairie Hawks, will be joining the University of Northern Iowa.

Perrion Scott, a speedster who rushed for 985 yards and scored nine touchdowns at Linn-Mar, plans to sign with Iowa Central Community College. Logan Nelsen, who led Linn-Mar in tackles, has committed to St. Cloud State.

Tim Otting, a star lineman for the Xavier Saints, has committed to Northwest Missouri State.

Dalton Kuehl, a premier lineman for the Jefferson J-Hawks, plans to stay in town and play for Coe.

Five other Metro stars previously revealed their college selections.

Julian Good-Jones and Landen Akers of Washington have committed to Iowa State. Bryce Meeker of Prairie also plans to join the Cyclones. Jesse Furrow of Jefferson will be enrolling at Wheaton College and JoJo Simpson of Prairie is going to Upper Iowa.

The signing period for football letters-of-intent begins Wednesday.
