BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Jack Ahcan scored at the 4:09 mark in overtime Friday night to give the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders a 4-3 victory over Bloomington in a USHL game before 1,611 fans in Bloomington, Ill.

The RoughRiders jumped to a 2-0 lead in the first period on goals by Hugh McGing and Pavel Tkachkov, but Bloomington responded with three straight goals for a 3-2 lead late in the game.

McGing scored again at the 15:28 mark of the third period to tie the game, 3-3. Ahcan got his game-winner on an assist from Jacob Hayhurst. Ahcan had two assists in the game. Ross Colton also had two assists.

Ben Blacker got the victory in goal for Cedar Rapids. The RoughRiders raised their record to 7-3-1 for 15 points. Bloomington fell to 6-5-2 for 14 points.

The RoughRiders host Tri-City on Saturday night.
