DES MOINES - Waterloo West senior Jadyn Spencer hit her 49th career home run Saturday in a 7-1 win over Mid-Prairie in the Jack North Classic.

Spencer has 12 home runs in 21 games this season.She is tied for the career record with former North Polk prep Sammy Snygg.

Spencer has signed a letter of intent to play college softball at the University of Alabama.
