Kennedy moved up four spots to No. 5 in this week's Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association Class 4A poll.

The Cougars started the season at No. 1, but dropped to No. 9 in last week's poll.

Xavier broke into the Class 4A poll at No. 10. The Saints and Cougars are the only Metro teams ranked in the polls.

Mason City holds down the No. 1 spot in Class 4A. The other No. 1 teams are Solon (3A), Logan-Magnolia (2A) and Martensdale St. Marys (1A).
