Linn-Mar is ranked No. 6 in this week's Associated Press Class 4A football poll.

Xavier, which was ranked No. 7 last week, fell out of the poll after a 52-24 loss to No. 2 Iowa City High.

Linn-Mar (4-0) plays at unranked Prairie (0-4) Friday. Xavier (3-1) hosts No. 1 Cedar Falls (4-0) at Saints Field.

Iowa City High (4-0) plays Kennedy (2-2) at Kingston Stadium on Thursday night.

Clear Lake (4-0) moved up to No. 1 in Class 3A after Sioux City Heelan was beaten by Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley, 27-17, Friday. Heelan fell to No. 9.

The other No. 1 teams - Iowa City Regina (2A), Council Bluffs St. Albert (1A), LeMars Gehlen (A) and Armstrong-Ringsted (8-Man) - remained the same.
