Cedar Valley boys trim Wapsie Valley

FAIRBANK - Will Muhlbach poured in 22 points Tuesday night as Cedar Valley Christian nudged Wapsie Valley, 60-56, in a non-conference basketball game in Fairbank.

The victory lifted the Huskies to 5-4 for the season, with all nine games on the road.

"A hard-fought win tonight," Cedar Valley Coach Jeff Pospisil reported. "It is tough to play on the road."

Jeremy Strutz tossed in 14 points for the Huskies and Jon Landis scored 11. Steven Stoner made five 3-pointers and led winless Wapsie Valley (0-6) with 28 markers.
