Cedar Valley boys fall by 20 points

WHEATLAND - The Cedar Valley Christian boys basketball team had a tough night shooting the basketball Friday and lost to Calamus-Wheatland, 73-53, in Wheatland.

Will Muhlbach led the Huskies (11-8) with 22 points. David Sperling scored 12 points and Jeremy Strutz had 10.

Jake Janssen paced Calamus-Wheatland (9-10) with 22 points and Landon Goettsch notched 18.

CEDAR VALLEY (53): Henderson 1 2-2 4, Landis 1 0-1 2, Long 0 1-2 1, Muhlbach 8 6-9 22, Sperling 4 4-5 12, Strutz 5 0-0 10, Zielke 0 2-2 2. Totals 19 15-21 53.
