Cedar Valley cancels game at North Linn

Cedar Valley Christian canceled Monday night's boys basketball game at North Linn due to a scheduling mixup.

Cedar Valley Christian played two games in the Bellevue Marquette tournament on Dec. 8, but the Huskies originally were told they would count as only one game since they were played on the same date.

Cedar Valley Christian subsequently learned that both games count against their allotment of regular-season contests, so they had to drop one game from the schedule to comply with IHSAA rules.

In another scheduling note, Cedar Valley's game this Friday against Valley Lutheran will be played at the Cedar Valley Christian school instead of at Shellsburg. The game is now scheduled for 7 p.m.
