GOOSE LAKE - Cedar Valley Christian got goals from John Zasadny, Arturo Melendez and Luke Zasadny and beat Northeast, 3-1, Friday in boys soccer.

John Zasadny and Melendez scored in the 28th and 34th minutes, respectively, to stake the Huskies to a 2-0 halftime lead.

Northeast's Danny Speht scored a riicochet goal off the crossbar in the 62nd minute to cut CVC's lead to 2-1.

Luke Zasadny iced the game with a goal in the 80th minute for the Huskies (1-1).
