Alex Kennedy and Arturo Melendez scored three goals apiece and keeper Brandon Fields had two assists to lead Cedar Valley Christian past Bellevue Marquette, 8-0, Tuesday in boys soccer at Tuma.

Kennedy had three goals in the first half and Melendez rebounded a Kennedy miss for another. David Sperling scored off a corner kick by Jon Landis to help the Huskies build a 5-0 lead.

With the wind behind him, Fields had two long punts Melendez and Landis converted into goals. Melendez also scored an unassisted goal.
