ESTHERVILLE - All-American Doug Wilson turned in another stellar performance for the Kirkwood Eagles Wednesday night.
Wilson collected 25 points, 11 rebounds and four assists as the third-ranked Eagles trimmed Iowa Lakes, 80-76, in a key ICCAC conference game in Estherville.
Wilson shot 10-for-14 from the field and continued his good work at the foul line by hitting 5-of-7.
Kirkwood opened a two-game lead in the conference race at 6-0, with Iowa Lakes (4-2) and NIACC (3-1) essentially tied for second place.
Allante Pickens popped in five 3-pointers and scored 17 points for Kirkwood, which raised its overall record to 17-2. Brady Sartorius contributed 13 points and Connor Kasperbauer notched 10.
Kevin Jennings scored 18 points for Iowa Lakes (13-6).
