DECORAH - The Coe College men's track team placed fourth in the distance medley at the Iowa Conference Indoor meet Friday in Decorah.

Jon Amling, Nate Wood, Joshua Randall and Austin Springsteen covered the race in 10:47.84.

The Kohawks finished fifth in the 4x200 relay with Anton Jones, Erik Franklin, Clayton Birkes and Beau Freeborn clocked in 1:33.68.

Alex Deeds placed sixth in the shot put at 45 feet, 10 1/2 inch.

The second day of the meet will be held Saturday.
