DECORAH - Kenzie Drahn and Erik Franklin placed third in the triple jump for the Coe College track teams Saturday at the Iowa Conference indoor meet in Decorah.

Drahn finished third in the women's triple jump at 35 feet, 2 1/2 inches. Franklin claimed third in the men's triple jump at 44 feet, 1 1/4 inch.

The Kohawks placed third in the 4x800 relay in 8:02.07 with Beau Freeborn, Joshua Randall, Jon Ameling and Austin Springsteen sharing the baton.

Sara Bechard finished fifth in the women's high jump at 5 feet, 1/2 inch.

The Coe men and women both finished eighth and last in the team standings. Wartburg won both titles.
