Haley Resnick, Rachel Schaefer and Rachel Bosworth of Coe have been named Athletes of the Week by the Iowa Conference.

Resnick, a freshman from Bettendorf, won the Flight A singles title at the Iowa Conference tennis tournament Saturday in Pella. She defeated No. 1 seed Arantxa Martinez of Dubuque in the finals, avenging a loss to Martinez during the regular season.

Schaefer, a senior from Waterloo, was named the Offensive Player of the Week in volleyball after breaking the Coe career record for kills.

Bosworth, a senior from Nevada, Iowa, was honored as the Defensive Player of the Week in volleyball.
