DECORAH - Josh Rekers passed for 271 yards and two touchdowns Saturday as Coe defeated Luther, 35-14, in an Iowa Conference game in Decorah.

Rekers hit Nick Lenstra with a 46-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter to snap a 14-14 tie and give the Kohawks a 20-14 advantage. He connected with Trevor Heitland for a 10-yard score later in the third period for a 27-14 lead.

Rekers completed 21 of 30 passes. He also scored on a 1-yard run.

Sam Lahr carried the ball 17 times for 70 yards and one touchdown for the Kohawks. Heitland caught six passes for 59 yards.

Colin Ferring finished the scoring for Coe with a 4-yard run in the fourth quarter.

Luther ran for 298 yards, but the Norse passed only six times for 20 yards. Coe ran for 146 yards and passed for 296 for 442 yards of total offense.

Coe raised its records to 4-4 overall and 3-2 in the league. Luther fell to 4-4 and 1-4.
