INDIANOLA – The Coe men’s and women’s swimming teams earned a pair of wins Friday at Simpson College.

The Coe men beat Tabor, 154-38, and Simpson, 138-84. The Coe women beat Tabor, 115-63, and Simpson, 110-92.

On the men’s side, the Kohawks won the 200-yard medley relay (1 minute, 43 seconds) and 200 freestyle relay (1:35.27), Andy Cheng won the 1,000 freestyle (11:09.37) and 100 butterfly (55.60), Corbin Faidley won the 200 freestyle (1:49.41) and 100 freestyle (50.65), Collin Flynn won the 200 individual medley (2:02.87) and 100 backstroke (54.84), and Brian Bosn won the 500 freestyle (5:16.21).

On the women’s side, the Kohawks won the 200 medley relay (1:52.78), Katie King won the 1,000 freestyle (11:44.36) and 100 butterfly (1:04.42), Sam Fitzgerald won the 200 individual medley (2:19.22) and 100 breaststroke (1:09.05), Ayaka Okamoto won the 50 freestyle (25.42) and 100 backstroke (57.90), and Alanna Thompson won the 500 freestyle (5:41.59).
