OGLESBY, Ill. - Mount Mercy's Jacob Selander tied for the low round of the day, shooting a 3-under-par 68 to finish in second place Tuesday at the Deer Park Classic.
Selander's two-day total of 139 was two shots behind chanpion Tyler Christians of Grand View. Selander's hot round allowed the Mustangs to jump from fourth to second in the team race. Mount Mercy's two-day total was 574, six shots behind team champion Grand View.
Warren Bynoe, who was tied for third after the first day, shot a 75 Tuesday to finish at 145 and in a tie for 11th place.
