CLINTON - Jacob Olson scored 25 points Tuesday night as the Jefferson J-Hawks opened the season with a 64-59 loss at Clinton.
Tyler Konigsmark contributed 13 points for Jefferson and Lucas Larson had 11.
Javian Jones led Clinton with 25 points.
The J-Hawks trailed by eight points at halftime, 32-24. They rallied and grabbed a 53-51 lead late in the game before it slipped away.
There were 48 fouls in the 32-minute game and three players fouled out. Clinton outscored the J-Hawks, 18-13, at the foul line for the five-point victory.
